Gulchekhra Inoyatova was raised in the best traditions of the Russian piano school. She is a creative pianist and acquired fame as a gifted interpreter of the music of contemporary composers. Having received an excellent musical education, she graduated from the Central Music School (CMS), the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory with DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, where her supervisor was a world famous musician, Tatiana Nikolaeva. Inoyatova’s extensive repertoire includes both contemporary music and works of classical composers. Her playing is characterized by deep musicality, wonderful sense of form, bright colorful expression and rich range of sound.
Gulchekhra Inoyatova played with the best orchestras of Russia, Latvia and the CIS countries and performed numerous concerts in Germany, Latvia, Moldova, Czech Republic, China, Hungary and other countries in Asia and Europe. Ms. Inoyatova was often the first performer and interpreter of the brightest and most important works of Tajik composers, written for piano during the period of 1980 to the 2000s. Her ability to appreciate the author’s idea, very deep understanding of the individual style of each piece, clarity of articulation, total mastery of the keyboard are often an integral component of the success of the composition. Gulchekhra Inoyatova is a successful educator with over 30 years experience in higher educational institutions of music in Russia, China and Tajikistan. She headed the piano departments in both the universities of Tajikistan and Russia. During the past 11 years, she has been a foreign expert in Xi’an Conservatoty of Music and South China Normal University, China. More than a hundred students and young teachers have had a chance to improve their skills in her class.
